Catch some of the Direct Business Solutions team at The Royal Welsh Show from Monday 24th to the 27th of July!
Throughout the week, we will be broadening our network within the Welsh agriculture industry. Discussing renewable energy, energy management and various other topics will hopefully help many of the agricultural businesses in and around Wales take control of their energy and make it work for them, along with creating an eco-friendlier community and start pushing for net zero!
The Royal Welsh Show is one of the most prestigious events of its kind in Europe. It is a large agricultural show held annually in Llanelwedd, Wales, by the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society. The society was established in 1904, and the show has been held annually since then.
The Royal Welsh Show typically lasts for four days in late July and attracts around 200,000 visitors each year. It showcases the cream of Welsh livestock and the high quality of Welsh food and drink. Apart from the livestock competitions, the show has something for everyone, including forestry, horse racing, horticulture, crafts, countryside sports, shopping, food, and drink and a 12-hour program each day of exciting entertainment, attractions, and displays.
The Royal Welsh Show is an important event in the Welsh calendar, not only for the agricultural community, but also for the whole country, as it celebrates Welsh rural life, promotes the sustainable use of land for farming, and showcases the cultural heritage of Wales.
